Ali Rose Collects Big 12 Honors

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State equestrian member Ali Rose earned Big 12 Rider of the Month honors for equitation over fences, it was announced by the conference Wednesday evening.

The sophomore from Wakefield, R.I., was 1-0 in the discipline, defeating her Baylor counterpart, 84-75, in OSU's first conference competition of the season. Rose helped spur the Cowgirls on to a 13-10 victory over the Bears.

Rose and Oklahoma State will be back in action when it travels to Bryan, Texas for a top 5 showdown between the fifth-ranked Cowgirls and the No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies.
