Cowgirls Travel To Texas For Pair Of Road Matchups
Oklahoma State went undefeated in October and is ranked fifth in the nation.
STILLWATER, Okla. - The No. 5 Oklahoma State equestrian team will take to the road for the first time of the 2011-12 season when it travels to Texas for weekend matchups with Texas A&M and TCU.
About the Cowgirls
Oklahoma State is 2-0 on the season and improved to 1-0 in Big 12 conference competition when they defeated the sixth-ranked Baylor Bears, 13-10, at Animal Science Arena in their last time out. The hunt seat team beat the SMU Mustangs, 9-1, in the opening matchup of the season.
OSU In The Rankings
The Cowgirls are ranked fifth in the latest Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll. They received 39 points in the poll, just behind SEC powers South Carolina (42) and Georgia (41).
About The Opponents
Texas A&M is 5-0 on the season and coming off a 12-7 victory over TCU in Bryan, Texas. They are ranked second in the latest coaches' poll.
TCU is 0-6 on the season and coming off the loss to the Aggies. The Horned Frogs received votes in the latest coaches' poll.
