Cowgirl Tennis Wraps Up Baylor Tournament

WACO, Texas – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team completed the final day at the Baylor HEB Invitational Sunday by winning three of their four doubles matches and both singles matches.
The day started at with doubles play at 8 a.m. as C.C. Sardinha and Leyla Simmons picked up a pair of wins to claim the consolation bracket title.
The Cowgirl duo defeated Tarleton's Brittni Fausett and Alicia Perez, 8-3, in the semifinal before knocking off Perri Anderson and Kris Roberts of SMU, 8-1, in the final match.
Meghan Blevins and Mary Jeremiah also picked up a doubles win in a practice match against SMU.
Kanyapat Naratanna and Malika Rose faced off against Baylor's Nicole Kosakowski and Jordaan Sanford in the semifinal of the main draw doubles bracket, but fell in a tiebreaker, 9-8(6).
Blevins and Jeremiah also won singles practice matches, as Blevins defeated
The Cowgirls are scheduled to return to action Oct. 21 at the ITA Central Region Championships in
