Equestrian Takes On Baylor

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State equestrian team opens conference play when it hosts the Baylor Bears at Animal Science Arena on Saturday.

About the Cowgirls

Oklahoma State is 1-0 on the season after the hunt seat team rolled to a 9-1 victory over the SMU Mustangs in its first competition of the year. This is the season opener for the western team, which finished fifth at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships last season.

About the Bears

Baylor is 3-0 on the season, beating South Dakota State, Fresno State and Miami (Oh) to win its fourth-consecutive Willis Invitational title in Waco. The Bears will compete against Kansas State on Friday before making their way to Stillwater for the Big 12 matchup.

2010-11 Head-to-Head Results

The Cowgirls were 2-1 against the Bears last season, including a 10-5 victory in the first round of the Big 12 Championships.
