Cowgirl Equestrian Helps Out Community

STILLWATER, Okla. – Eight members of the Cowgirl equestrian freshman class stayed active over the holidays, raking leaves at a house for Stillwater Group Homes, a non-profit organization that serves individuals with developmental disabilities.
“It was a great feeling watching part of the team accomplish so much for the community,” Andrea Robbins said. “Sometimes with our busy schedules I think we get caught up but it was nice to give to someone else, especially during the holidays”.
The community-minded group included Katie Ralph, Chelsey Zulia, Sammy Elser, Max Clason, Mackenzie Fugitt, Andrea Robbins, Samantha Harrison, Jenna Blumer, and Alison Rose.
These freshmen and the rest of the Cowgirls will be back in action when they host the Kansas State Wildcats Jan. 29 at Animal Science Arena in Stillwater.
