Stublaski Wins 1,500 at Arkansas Twilight

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Oklahoma State's Cowboy track team sent six runners to the Arkansas Twilight under the lights at John McDonnell Field Friday.
Each of the Cowboys entered in the 1,500 meters with Johnathan Stublaski leading the orange and black across the line in 1st place with a time of 3:42.20.
He was followed by Raul Botezan at 3:44.01, John Kosgei at 3:45.75 and Taylor Monaghan at 3:54.69, finishing at third, sixth and 16th, respectively.
Competing unattached, freshman Tom Farrell suited up for the first time in the outdoor season finishing in second place with a time of 3:42.92.
The Cowboys return to action next Saturday at the Sooner Open in Norman, Okla.
