It was the final game of The Preview featuring Bedlam and the Cowgirls went a perfect 4-0 on the weekend and improve to 15-5 on the season.
The game was scoreless until the bottom of the third inning when freshman first baseman Julie Ward hit a two-run home run of the center field fence. It was her seventh home run of the season and her 31st and 32nd RBIs. She was intentionally walked in her following at-bats.

Sophomores Chelsea Garcia and Kelsey Anchors each added runs to the Cowgirls score in the bottom of the fourth as they both reached base with singles to the outfield. Garcia scored on Anchors hit to center field and Anchors scored two batters later when Bright also hit a single to center field.
Brown, the redshirt freshman catcher, led off the fifth inning with her third home run of the season, a solo shot to left field. Sam Heinlein proceeded to reach base on a hit-by-pitch, Katie Asher walked and Mariah Gearhart got a hit to load the bases with one out. Bright walked to score a run and Alysia Hamilton hit into a fielder's choice that scored the seventh run of the game for the Cowgirls.
