Cowgirls Close Weekend in Fayetteville

Fayetteville, Ark.– The second half of the Cowgirl track team finished up the weekend at the Arkansas Spring Break meet.
The Cowgirls traveled all field participants to Fayetteville and had a strong showing in the long jump. Junior Clarissa Andrews placed second in the long jump with a mark of 5.90 meters.
Three throwers also traveled to Fayetteville. Redshirt Freshmen Mykka Jaspar, Alyssa Henrichs, and Jessica Lewis placed almost in order finishing sixth, seventh and ninth, respectively. Jaspar finished in the front for the Cowgirls with a mark of 38.10 meters.
The Cowgirls return to action April 1 to compete at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas.
