Cowgirl Track Finishes Competition in Norman

Norman, Okla. - The Oklahoma State women's track and field team traveled to Norman, Okla. on Saturday to compete in the Oklahoma Christian II.
The Cowgirls only sent two runners, three jumpers, and three throwers to the meet. Senior Julie Rader had a season best at weight throw with a mark of 15.88 meters coming in third. Also competing in weight throw were redshirt freshmen Mykka Jaspar and Alyssa Henrichs with marks of 15.20 meters and 12.36 meters placing fourth and 12th respectively.
Sophomore Kendra Woodson had a strong showing during the 800 meter run coming in first with a time of 2:15.19. Freshman Jessica Murphy also had a season best mark of 5.11 meters in the long jump competition.
The Cowgirls will return to action when they travel to Seattle, Wash. next weekend for the Husky Classic.
