The Basics
The Oklahoma State women's tennis team will compete in its third dual match of the 2010 season this weekend as the Cowgirls take on Central Oklahoma at 6 p.m. Saturday in Oklahoma City.
About the Cowgirls
The Cowgirls return five letterwinners from last year's squad, which finished with a 13-12 record and reached the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinal.
Oklahoma State enters its third match of the year with a 1-1 record after one weekend of play.
The Cowgirls dropped their season-opening dual match Jan. 23 to No. 19 Arkansas, 7-0, before responding with a 6-1 win over Saint Louis the following day.
Oklahoma State was scheduled to play Oral Roberts twice on Jan. 30, but the matches were canceled due to inclement weather.
About the Opponent
Central Oklahoma will open its 2010 season Saturday when the Bronchos face the Cowgirls. UCO finished with a 14-8 record last season, making its second consecutive appearance in the national tournament. Oklahoma State owns a 3-0 series advantage over the Bronchos, with the Cowgirls winning the last match in 2003, 7-0.
Last Time Out
In Oklahoma State's latest competition, several Cowgirls had a chance to earn wins. Sara Meghoufel, Alisa Buslaieva, Iryna Khatsko, Malika Rose and Alexandria Cristello all earned wins at the No. 2-6 positions, respectively, against Saint Louis. Oklahoma State also won all three doubles matches in the dual, winning 6-1.

After their match against Central Oklahoma, the Cowgirls will have one day off before they face Utah in Tulsa, Okla., Feb. 8.
