The No. 4 Oklahoma State Equestrian team (4-4, 3-1) will host the eighth-ranked TCU Horned Frogs at the Animal Science Arena on Saturday at 10 a.m. CT.
Senior Day
Saturday marks the final home event of the season for the Cowgirls. Eleven seniors will be honored between the reining and the fences competitions.
Last Time Out
Oklahoma State fell at No. 2 Auburn 12-8 last Saturday. Senior Ally Blais picked up her seventh MVP on the season for the hunt seat team and freshman Marissa Dalton remained undefeated on the season after beating previously unbeaten Indy Roper of Auburn in horsemanship.
Undefeated
With her head-to-head victory at Auburn, Dalton is now the lone undefeated rider in the nation in horsemanship. She beat the only remaining undefeated rider to claim sole possession of the spot.
The Rankings
The Cowgirls moved up one spot to No. 4 in the latest Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll that was released last week. This matches Oklahoma State's highest ranking of the season. The Pokes received 76 votes in the poll, just six points behind third-ranked Texas A&M. All four Big 12 participating schools are in the top 10, with Kansas State No. 6 and Baylor No. 7.
TCU This Season
The Horned Frogs are 9-6 on the year and coming off a second place finish at the Best of the West tournament in Fresno, Calif.
Equitation On The Flat vs. TCU
Competing for Oklahoma State in equitation on the flat are senior Ally Blais, juniors Jessie Brothers and Alice White, sophomores Sarah Brown and Jordan White and freshman Ellie Sparks.
Equitation Over Fences vs. TCU
Joining Blais, Sparks, Alice White and Jordan White in equitation over fences are juniors Hannah Beresford and Erin Prutow.
Horsemanship vs. TCU
Senior Suzanne Randolph, juniors Lauren Olson and Courtney Whitacre, sophomores Nichole Chirico and Mamie Tomlin and freshman Marissa Dalton are all set to ride for the Cowgirls in horsemanship.
Reining vs. TCU
In reining the Cowgirls will be led by seniors Leah Keuhn, Rachell Shobe and Molly Tipton, junior Brianna Parnell and sophomores Caroline Daniels and Rachel Houchin.
