Cowgirls Take To The Road
STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State equestrian team (2-0, 1-0) will hit the road for the first time this season when they travel to Waco, Texas to take on the Baylor Bears on Friday before clashing with the Texas A&M Aggies in Bryan, Texas on Saturday.
Last Time Out
The third-ranked Cowgirls are coming off a 12-6 victory over the defending Big 12 Champion Baylor Bears at the Animal Science Center on October 17. Senior Bri Parnell received her first MVP of the season in reining as the western team rolled to a 7-1 victory. Lauren Halvorson also picked up MVP honors in for her horsemanship performance.
Alice White picked up an MVP in equitation over fences and Erin Prutow and Ellie Sparks added head-to-head wins in the discipline as the Cowgirls solidified their victory with a win in the hunterseat in raw scores, 771-768.
About The Opponents
Baylor is 3-2 on the season and coming off a loss to the Cowgirls. They are ranked seventh in the Women's Intercollegiate National Coaches Poll.
The second-ranked Texas A&M Aggies are 2-0 on the season and coming off an 8-4 victory over the SMU Mustangs.
