The Basics
The Oklahoma State Cowboy and Cowgirl track & field teams travel to Norman, Okla., on Saturday for the JD Martin Invitational at the Mosier Indoor Facility. Saturday is the first of three trips to the Mosier Indoor Faciltiy for the Cowboys and Cowgirls. They will return the following weekend and again Feb. 20.
OSU Lineups
The Cowgirls will send 18 athletes to the JD Martin Invitational. They will compete in eight events, with four in track event and four in field events. The Cowboys will also send 18 runners to the JD Martin Invitational. The majority of the Cowboys will compete in the 1000 meter run and the mile run, while four other OSU men will enter in the 800 meter run, the 600 yard run and the 400 meter dash.
Last Time Out Both teams sent athletes to the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. For the Cowboys, Tom Farrell and Colby Lowe each hit NCAA provisional qualifying marks in the 3,000 meters.
In the Polls
The Cowboys, despite entering in distance events only, remained in the USTFCCCA top 25 for the second straight week. OSU is ranked No. 24 and is one of seven Big 12 teams in the top 25.
