Cowgirls Finish Competion in Arkansas

Fayetteville, Ark. – The Oklahoma State Women's track and field team finished the second day of competition today in Fayetteville, Ark.
Juniors Brandi Andrews and Teran Mixon finished ninth and 10th in the 800 meter run with times of 2:16.21 and 2:16.41.
A pack of Cowgirl freshmen including Melanie Funke, Kate Kujawa, Jacqueline Campos, and Alyse Goldsmith competed in the one mile run. Funke finished with a time of 5:12.05 placing 12th while Kujawa and Campos finished close together placing 13th and 14th with times of 5:13.48 and 5:13.73
The Cowgirl track and field team will return to action at the JD Martin Duals in Norman, Okla. on January 30.
