OSU Softball Will Finish Regular Season with Texas Tech Series

STILLWATER, Okla. (OSU Athletics ) - The Oklahoma State softball team will host the Texas Tech Red Raiders this weekend to wrap up the end of the regular season. First pitch on Saturday is slated for 2 p.m. The Cowgirls are 31-19 this season with a 6-10 record in Big 12 play and are coming off a 6-0 loss to Oklahoma in Stillwater Thursday evening.
Sophomore Mariah Gearhart continues to lead Oklahoma State at the plate with a .344 batting average and 52 hits. She also leads the team with 42 runs scored and 30 stolen bases. Junior Anna Whiddon is leading the Cowgirl pitching staff with a 2.34 earned run average, a 16-12 record, 14 complete games and 165 strikeouts.
The Red Raiders are 15-39 on the season with a Big 12 record of 3-13. They are led offensively by Elizabeth Eimen who has a .359 average, 55 hits and 17 runs batted in. Ashly Jacobs leads Texas Tech in the circle with a 4.35 ERA and 102 strikeouts in 156 innings pitched.
Oklahoma State is 26-10 all-time against Texas Tech including a 1-1 split last year in Lubbock
