Cowgirl Softball Hosts 11th-Ranked Missouri

Oklahoma State is 28-12 overall this season and 4-4 in Big 12 Conference action coming off a doubleheader split at No. 25 Texas A&M. OSU lost to the Aggies 2-1 in the first game before a run-rule halted the action in the fifth inning of the second contest with the Cowgirls prevailing 13-1.
OSU is led offensively by junior right fielder Megan Castle who is batting .347 this season. Sophomore Mariah Gearhart is batting .333 with a team-leading 37 runs scored, while fellow sophomore Alysia Hamilton is batting .331 with a team-high 40 runs batted in.
The Cowgirl pitching staff has compiled a 194 earned run average and has 15 shutouts this season. Righthanded pitcher Anna Whiddon is 14-7 on the season with a 1.69 ERA while lefty Sarah Odom is 12-4 overall with a 2.20 earned run average.
Missouri is 34-5 overall this season and 6-2 in Big 12 action. The Tigers are led offensively by Shana White who is batting .463 with a team-high 24 stolen bases. Marla Schweisberger is batting .437 with 34 RBIs. Rhea Taylor is batting .396 with a team-leading 34 runs scored.
In the circle for the Tigers, Stacy Delaney is 9-2 with a 0.95 ERA while Chelsea Thomas is 10-2 with a 1.00 ERA.
