OSU Hosts Wichita State Wednesday Evening

The Oklahoma State softball team will face the Wichita State Shockers at Cowgirl Stadium on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Cowgirls are 29-16 on the season and 5-8 in Big 12 play following a weekend series split with Iowa State.

Sophomore second baseman Alysia Hamilton leads OSU offensively with a .338 batting average, 45 hits and 42 runs batted in. Fellow sophomore Sarah Odom leads the Cowgirl pitching staff with a 2.11 earned run average and a 13-4 record.

The Shockers are 17-27 this season and 7-12 in Missouri Valley Conference games. They are led by Kara L'Huillier's .373 batting average, 50 hits and 32 RBIs. Kasha Kolb leads the pitchers with a 3.67 ERA, an 11-19 record and 163 strikeouts.

Oklahoma State is 69-5 all-time against Wichita State, including a dramatic 4-2 win in Wichita on March 4^th.
