Cowgirl Tennis Preps for Weekend Road Trip

STILLWATER, Okla. Â The Oklahoma State women's tennis team has two road matches scheduled for the upcoming weekend.
The Cowgirls (8-9, 2-4 Big 12) will face Nebraska on Friday before traveling to Iowa State on Saturday.
OSU split its two conference matches last weekend picking up a win against Kansas State before dropping a 4-3 decision to Kansas.
Freshman Iryna Khatsko has been a solid performer for the Cowgirls thus far in the conference season. Playing all her matches at the No. 4 slot, she is 6-0 and has lost only two sets against Big 12 opponents.
Oklahoma State vs. No. 66 Nebraska  April 3 at 4 p.m.
The Cornhuskers are 10-3, 2-3. Madelein Geibert leads Nebraska at No. 1 singles. She is 3-2 against Big 12 opponents. She will likely face Cowgirl sophomore JoAnne Karaitiana.
Geibert joins teammate Jana Albers at No. 1 doubles. They are 3-2 against league opponents. They will likely square off against Karaitiana and Nataliya Shatkovskaya for the Cowgirls.
Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State  April 4 at 3:30 p.m.
Iowa State is 8-8, 1-5. The Cyclones have lost five straight conference matches after picking up a win over Kansas State to kick-off their conference schedule.
Erin Karonis plays at No. 1 singles for Iowa State. She will likely team with Kara Hickey at No. 1 doubles.
