Student Tickets FAQ

2009-2010 Student Tickets FAQ:
- Will there be an all-sports pass this year?
- There is no longer an all-sports pass. The only sports that require students to have a separate ticket are football and men's basketball. All other events will be free of charge as long as you present a valid student ID at the entrance.
- When do I have to be enrolled to be eligible for student tickets?
- You must be enrolled for the Fall 2009 semester. Your enrollment will be verified before you may pick up your tickets.
- How can I purchase both football and basketball tickets?
- This year if you purchase football and men's basketball at the same time, you receive a 20% discount. The cost is $330 a savings of $84. You can purchase tickets at the main ticket office in the Northeast corner of Gallagher-Iba Arena. There are a limited number of these packages available.
- How do I purchase student season football tickets?
- A form is available online at www.okstate.com. Students will need to fill out this form and bring the completed form along with a valid student ID to the ticket office.
- What will be the cost of football season tickets?
- The cost of football season tickets will be $172.00 for 8 home games.
- When will I receive my student season tickets for football?
- Season football tickets can be picked up beginning August 10 at the South ticket windows of Boone Pickens Stadium.
- When can I purchase student Football tickets?
- Between August 10-14 and August 17-21 between 9 am and 4 pm in the Student Union. You can also purchase tickets at the main ticket office in the Northeast corner of Gallagher-Iba Arena at anytime.
- How do I purchase student season men's basketball tickets?
- Men's Basketball tickets are available currently in the combo pack with football for $330. If tickets remain, students wishing to purchase only basketball season tickets can do so beginning on October 1 for $242.
- When will I receive my student season tickets for men's basketball?
- Season men's basketball tickets can be picked up beginning October 20 at the south ticket windows of Boone Pickens Stadium.
- Will I be required to purchase football tickets in order to purchase men's basketball tickets?
- No, you will not have to buy football tickets in order to have the right to purchase men's basketball tickets. However, the combo pack is sold currently and a limited number of tickets are available. There is a chance that tickets for just men's basketball will not be available.
- What will be the cost of men's basketball student season tickets?
- The price for men's basketball is $242. If bought together, football and men's basketball is $330 which saves you $84 or 20%.
- Will cards be available for spouses and/or dependents?
- Yes, a Cowboy Football card and a Cowboy Basketball Card will be available for spouses and/or dependent(s) of an Oklahoma State student. You will need to fill out the form and provide documentation that proves that the individual(s) you are buying the card(s) for are your spouse and/or dependent(s). However, the card will only work for the designated sport and will not allow entrance to other OSU athletic events.
- Will the activity cards be available for branch campus students?
- Branch campus students can still purchase tickets but you will not have an activity card. You will only need a valid student ID from the campus that you attend. You will need tickets along with your ID for Football and Men's basketball, but for all other athletic events you only need to present your branch campus student ID.
- Can I purchase student season tickets for football or men's basketball games on the telephone or the Internet?
- No. Due to the fact that you must show a valid student ID at the time of purchase you must purchase the season tickets in person. However, you can print the form and fax it along with a copy of your student ID to the ticket office at 405.744.5538.
- Do I have to be present to purchase my student season tickets? Can I send my ID with someone else?
- Students MUST be present with their ID to purchase student season tickets for football or men's basketball. A form will be filled out and signed to verify your purchase.
- Do I have to stand in line to get these tickets?
- Yes. Due to the fact that you must show your student ID to purchase student season tickets, you MUST be present at the time of purchase.
- Will I be limited to using my bursar account to pay for season tickets?
- No. You have several payment options to pay for your student season tickets (Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Cash/Check/Bursar).
- Will I receive a book of season tickets much like a regular season ticket holder would? Or will it be included on my student ID again?
- Yes, you will receive a book of season tickets for football or men's basketball when you fill out your form and bring it to the ticket office to pay for your season tickets. However, you will need to have a valid student ID along with your ticket to enter the game.
- Will there be Âreserved tickets' available for football or basketball?
- No, all student season tickets for football and basketball will be general admission tickets (on a first come, first serve basis).
- How can I sit with my friends at the game?
- All student season tickets are general admission tickets. You must be together in your group when you are admitted to the game with your student season tickets to sit together.
- Will I need to validate for any football games?
- No. Since you will have paper tickets for all home games you will not need to validate.
- May another OSU student use my ticket?
- Yes. Another student with a valid OSU ID may use your ticket.
- May a non-OSU student use my ticket?
- Yes. Another person can use your ticket by upgrading the ticket on the day of the event at a ticket window. An upgrade costs the face value of the ticket.
- Will there be a limit to the number of students allowed to attend an event other than men's basketball and football?
- The athletic department reserves the right to limit the number of students allowed to enter an athletic event if capacity becomes an issue. Students will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis if capacity is an issue.
