Cowboys Ready For Stanford Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State men's track and field team heads to Palo Alto, Calif., this weekend to compete in the 2009 Stanford Invitational.
Eight Cowboys will compete on Friday in four different events.
John Stublaski, Colby Lowe and David Chirchir, who all won their events last weekend at the Tulsa Invitaional, will compete in the 1,500 meters, 10,000 meters and 3,000-meter steeplechase, respectively.
Clay Mayes, who competed in the 1,500 meters at his last event, will join Lowe in the 10,000 meters.
The other event for the Cowboys is the 5,000-meter run, where Matt Barnes-Smith, Ryan Prentice, Sean Fleming and Alejandro Ruiz will compete.
The meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Friday and conclude at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
