Cowgirl Tennis Opens Home Conference Schedule This Weekend

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team will continue its conference season this weekend against Kansas State on Saturday and Kansas on Sunday. Both matches are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at the DeBois Tennis Complex in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State vs. Kansas State – March 28 at 11 a.m.
The Cowgirls are 7-8, 1-3 in Big 12 play. They will look to get back on the winning side of things against Kansas State (3-7, 0-3) on Friday. OSU is currently on a three-match losing streak after winning its first conference match.

The Cowgirls and the Wildcats have faced three of the same opponents. Wichita State downed Kansas State 6-1 and also downed the Cowgirls 4-0. Brigham Young beat Kansas State 7-0 and also beat OSU 6-1. Tulsa dealt Kansas State a 4-0 loss, but beat Oklahoma State only 4-3.
Oklahoma State vs. Kansas – March 29 at 11 a.m.
OSU will have its second straight home conference match against the Jayhawks on Sunday. Kansas is 6-8, 1-3 and will face Oklahoma on Friday before coming to Stillwater. The Jayhawks are on a two-match losing streak going into the weekend.

OSU and KU have faced four of the same opponents. BYU beat Kansas 4-3 and Tulsa downed KU 6-1. In conference play, the Jayhawks fell to Colorado 5-2, and the Buffaloes downed OSU 4-3. Missouri beat Kansas 5-2, and the Cowgirls downed the Tigers 4-3.
