Cowboys Win Three Events to Open Outdoor Season

TULSA, Okla. Â The Oklahoma State men's track and field team opened its outdoor season on Saturday at the Tulsa Invitational, where a trio of Cowboys claimed first-place finishes in their respective events.
John Stublaski won the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.90, Colby Lowe won the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:53.10 and David Chirchir crossed the line first in the 2,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 6:05.26.
Several Cowboys joined Lowe in the 1,500 meters, as Oklahoma State claimed five of the top 10 finishers, including Lowe in first, Brian Gosnell in seventh, Sean Fleming in eighth, Matt Barnes-Smith in ninth and Tucker Weems in 10th.
The Cowboys were also represented in the 400-meter dash, where Mitchel Rolfes finished in 14th with a time of 52 seconds flat.
