Cowboys Participate in NCAA Tournament Hoopla

Once OSU arrived at the arena, seniors Byron Eaton and Terrel Harris, along with sophomore James Anderson, met with the media in a formal interview session. Once the Cowboy players were done, head coach Travis Ford took the podium while several media outlets did one-on-one interviews with the aforementioned Pokes and all the other Cowboys in the lockerroom.
As the Cowboys took the the court on which they will play the Volunteers on Friday, Ford visited with Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery, along with producer Bob Mansbach, courtside. It was one of many interviews for Oklahoma State's first-year head coach this week. Along with meeting with the media following Tuesday's practice session, the Cowboy head man has done interviews with Jim Rome, Dan Patrick, The Fan in Dallas, the Sports Animal in Oklahoma City and Triple Play Sports in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State's Athletic Ticket office sold nearly 500 tickets to Cowboy fans. The UD Arena is expected to be sold out as Ohio State, Louisville, East Tennessee State, Tennessee, Pittsburgh and Morehead State are all within driving distance. The local fans also love their basketball, as evidenced by the nearly 11,000 fans who flooded the 13,700-seat arena to attend the play-in game between Morehead State and Alabama State on Tuesday night.
