TEMPE, Ariz. (OSU Athletics ) — The Cowgirl softball team's final game of the Kajikawa Classic against No. 9 Northwestern was cancelled today due to heavy rain.
OSU went 3-1 in the tournament including a 1-0 upset over No. 11 Stanford on Friday. Cowgirl freshman Julie Ward set a school record for RBI's in a game with eight against Western Michigan. The previous record was six in a game and was achieved five previous times.
Oklahoma State will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Houston to play in the Crowne Plaza Classic. They will play two games on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Friday the Cowgirls will face North Carolina State at 1:00 and host University of Houston at 5:00.
