2006 Fall Season: Ended the fall ranked No. 29 in the region ... finished with an impressive 5-1 record in her first fall with the program ... won Flight C at the Aggie Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M. ... defeated Anne Fagegaltier, 6-2, 6-0, in the finals of the Aggie Invitational ... only lost one set in Las Cruces ... outside the set she lost, she only surrendered three games total in three matches ... lost in the the round of 16 at the Central Region Championship to top-seed and No. 83-ranked Ela Kaluder of Arkansas, 6-4, 6-3 ... teamed with Yawna Allen to have a solid fall in doubles play ... the duo went a combined 3-2 in the two tournaments OSU competed in ... the pair advanced to the finals of the Aggie Invitational where they lost to New Mexico's No. 31-ranked Isa Gersic and Lucy Scott, 8-2 ... the tandem also advanced to the round of 16 at the Central Region Championship before losing out.
Before OSU: Played basketball, volleyball, ping-pong and swam in high school ... placed third at the Belarus Women's Championships in January 2005 ... won the ETA under 16 title ... placed second in singles and third in doubles at the Women's Championship of Belarus in August 2005 ... won both the singles and doubles at the Women's Championship of Belarus in 2006.
Personal: Daughter of Yuriy and Valentina ... has one brother, Sergej ... born Jan. 13, 1989 ... majoring in economics ... enjoys playing piano, swimming, talking to friends and photography ... hopes to own her own supermarket one day ... likes animated movies, as well as Titanic, The Notebook and Gladiator ... likes to watch Duel, Discovery Health, Eurosport and skiing and gymnastics competitions on TV ... chose OSU because it gave her the best opportunity to continue her sports and academic career ... lived in Poland for four years and can speak Russian, Belarusian, Polish and English ... finished musical school with a Grade A in the fortepiano.
