OSU Equestrian Drops Show to Baylor

Oklahoma State's Cowgirl equestrian lost its second Big 12 show and third overall this season to the Baylor Bears (7-2) in Waco, Texas.
The Cowgirls were defeated by a margin of 14-6 and fell to 5-3 on the season. The bright spot of the day came in the reining discipline, where Oklahoma State defeated Baylor, 3-2. Senior Jacque Roberts and juniors Rachell Shobe and Leah Kuehn all contributed to the reining discipline. Kuehn sealed her sixth victory on the season, while Roberts picked up her fifth.
The Cowgirls were swept 0-5 in the horsemanship discipline, with a 7-3 overall loss in the Western side of the competition.
OSU was defeated in the English disciplines, 7-3, by the Bears. Seniors Sam and Charlotte Collingsworth picked up wins for the Cowgirls in equitation on the flat.
Charlotte Collingsworth has now tallied seven wins on the season, while Sam Collingsworth has accumulated six victories on the year. OSU's lone win in equitation over fences came from junior Ally Blais, who improved to 7-1 this season.
The Cowgirls return to action in Stillwater against Delaware State on February 28.
