Cowgirl Tennis Faces Tulsa and Louisville This Weekend In Tulsa

STILLWATER, Okla. Â The Oklahoma State women's tennis team will take on two higher ranked opponents this weekend at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center at the University of Tulsa.
The Cowgirls will face No. 33 Tulsa at 3 p.m. Friday. OSU will then face No. 60 Louisville at noon Saturday. Tulsa and Louisville will face off Sunday to wrap up the weekend. The Cowgirls are ranked No. 71 in the most recent ITA National Rankings.
Tulsa is 6-2 on the year while the Lady Cardinals are 2-4. Louisville is on a four match losing streak. Oklahoma State (1-2) is coming off its first win of the season last Saturday against Eastern Michigan in Stillwater.
The Cowgirls are led by sophomore Jo-Anne Karaitiana at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. She is 2-0 thus far in singles and is 2-1 in doubles teaming with Nataliya Shatkovskaya. OSU got a boost from its freshmen last weekend. Iryna Khatsko won at No. 5 singles and Alisa Buslaieva won at No. 6 singles. The two also paired together for a win at No. 2 doubles.
