Cowgirl Softball Doubleheader Postponed

Oklahoma State's softball doubleheader with St. Gregory's, scheduled for Tuesday evening, has been postponed until Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 5 p.m., due to wet field conditions and inclement weather.
The Cowgirls are 4-0 this fall and have outscored their opponents 46-2. OSU is led offensively by sophomore Julie Ward who is batting .643 with three home runs and 14 runs batted in. As a team, the Cowgirls are batting .449 with eight doubles, five triples and five home runs in four contests.
In the pitching circle, senior right-hander Anna Whiddon is 2-0 with 18 strikeouts and just one walk while allowing four hits and no runs in 12 innings. Junior Taylor Marcum is 1-0 with a 0.00 earned run average and nine strikeouts in nine innings pitched, while freshman Kat Espinosa is 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA, eight strikouts and no walks in seven innings.
