STILLWATER, Okla. - Brodie Myers, an eight-year-old native of Stillwater, is one of 16 national finalists for NBC's TODAY'S Kid Reporter contest. A huge Oklahoma State fan, Myers will fly to New York next week to appear on the TODAY Show, where he will be interviewed and his "The OSU Sports Report With Brodie Myers" contest submission will be shown.
Myers' appearance will air Monday, Oct. 19, between 9 and 10 a.m. CST. OSU fans can vote for Myers as he tries to make the cut for the final four Kid Reporters in November. Cowboy and Cowgirl fans wishing to vote for Myers can do so online or via text messaging. For more information on voting, log on to www.todayshow.com or watch Monday's episode.
For his contest submission, Myers reported on OSU's football game against Grambling State last month. Myers will serve as a special guest public address announcer at the OSU women's soccer game vs. Baylor on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.
