Cowgirl Softball Winter Camp is a Success

Cowgirl softball wrapped up another successful edition of Rich Wieligman's 2009 Winter Softball Camp this past weekend. The camp consisted of six time slots divided up into pitching and hitting sessions.

Each hitting session lasted two hours and was led by Coach Wieligman, assistant coach Tom Gray and several Cowgirl players. The pitching sessions were also two hours and were instructed by pitching coach Clarisa Crowell and the Cowgirl pitching staff. All six sessions were sold out.

The Cowgirls will kick off the 2009 season on February 6, when they travel to Tempe, Ariz., for the Kajikawa Classic. OSU will face Stanford at 1 p.m. and Western Michigan at 6 p.m. on the first day of the tournament.
