• sat out her first semester at Oklahoma State due to injury.
at Blanche Thomas High School (2004-08)
• lettered four years for coach Garrett Smith.
• was a part of the 2004 Class A state championship team.
• was also a part of the academic state championship team from 2005 to 2007.
• batted .563 her senior year and named to the All-State softball team.
• also played basketball all four years and was a part of the team that was state runner-up in 2008.
• was named WOBCA All-State, OCA All-State and conference MVP for two years in basketball.
• played summer ball for the Oklahoma City Ultimate-McCoy with coach Marie Mena.
• was recruited by South Alabama and OCU.
Personal
Born on Dec. 13, 1989, Tamara is the daughter of Jay and Sandy Brown. She has a younger sister, Taryn. Tamara is undecided on her major at Oklahoma State.
