• started six games for the Cowgirls in the fall, including four in centerfield and two as the designated player.
• batted .421 with eight hits in 19 at-bats.
• her eight hits included two triples and a double.
• was 4-for-9 with runners in scoring position.
• had a six-game hitting streak with a base hit in every game she played.
• went 2-for-4 against Oklahoma Christian with a triple and a run batted in.
• was 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs against Carl Albert State.
• went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI at Arkansas.
at Olympic High School (2004-08)
• lettered three years for coach Rachel Davenport at Olympic High School.
• was voted team captain her senior year.
• holds the school season and career records for hits, doubles, triples, runs, RBIs and slugging percentage.
• batted .521 her senior year with an .896 slugging percentage.
• was successful on all 14 stolen base attempts and had a perfect fielding percentage.
• named All-State her senior year as an outfielder.
• selected All-County in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
• named a first-team All-Olympic League selection in 2007 and 2008.
• voted as the team MVP her junior and senior seasons.
• also played soccer for four years and basketball for two years.
• named second-team All-Olympic League in 2007 for soccer and named second-team All-Olympic League in basketball for the 2006-07 school year.
• won the Olympic Silver Shield Award for lettering in three varsity sports during the school year in 2006 and 2007.
• played summer ball for the Washington Lady Hawks with coaches JT D'Amico and Hayley Christensen.
• was also recruited by North Carolina State, Washington and Purdue.
Personal
Born March 30, 1990, Kelsey is the daughter of Dusty and Lori Anchors. She has three older siblings: Mike, Kayte, and Shayla. Kelsey is planning on majoring in sports nutrition at Oklahoma State. Kelsey started playing T-ball at the age of three and began playing competitive travel ball at seven.
