Last Fall
 started all eight games somewhere in the infield during the fall.
 versatile player, starting four games at shortstop, three at third and one at second base.
 finished with a team-high .619 batting average, collecting 13 hits in 21 at-bats.
 also led the team in hits (13), RBIs (11), runs scored (11), triples (5) and on-base percentage (.667).
 compiled a 1.333 slugging percentage with five triples, two doubles and a home run.
 had four triples and a double in her first nine at-bats.
 had at least one hit in all eight games.
 in the doubleheader against Oklahoma Christian, she was 5-for-6 with two triples, a double, a stolen base and three RBIs.
 in the twinbill against Carl Albert State, she went 3-for-5 with two triples, a walk, four RBIs and three runs scored.
 hit a solo home run in the Cowgirls' 5-1 win over Arkansas.
at Moore High School (2004-2008)
 lettered four years for coach Robert Wakefield.
 was team captain her senior year.
 team won the regional championship every year and won a Class 6A state title in 2005 and 2007.
 batted .447 her senior season with 43 RBIs, 43 runs scored and five home runs.
 was named team MVP and won the Slugger Award and Defensive Award.
 selected to All-Big City in 2007 and All-Conference in 2006 and 2007.
 garnered Ferguson Jenkins Outstanding Student Athlete Award.
 also played slow-pitch softball all four years.
 was a part of the slow-pitch team that won state twice.
 was named MVP in slow-pitch twice, All-City in 2008 and All-State in 2008.
 played summer ball with Ultimate Gold which participated in the 2007 Gold Nationals under coaches Ken Richardson, Alan Marcum and Martin Herman.
 also recruited by Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
Personal
Born on Jan. 5, 1990, Chelsea is the daughter of Tanilo Garcia and the late Robin Garcia. She is the third of four daughters: Tiffany Thompson, Jeanna and Sydney. Chelsea graduated high school with a 4.5 grade point average and ranked seventh in a class of 633. She is majoring in secondary education/mathematics at Oklahoma State.
