What's New for the 2008 Football Season
CHAIRBACKS AND SEAT CUSHIONS
Chairbacks are not permitted to be brought into the stadium.
Oklahoma State football fans planning to bring seat cushions into Boone Pickens Stadium need to be aware of several guidelines.
- All seat cushions must have a width of 16 inches or less
- Seat cushions are not allowed to have arms or backs to them
- Chair backs are not allowed to be brought into the stadium
If seat cushions do not meet the above requirements, they will not be allowed into the stadium and can not be stored at the stadium.
ELEVATORS
The elevators in the west endzone are under construction and will not be available to the general public for the 2008 football season.
ESCALATORS
Additional escalators will be located at the west end of the stadium for people to go from the plaza level to the mezzanine level. Please consult the stadium diagrams for the location of these escalators.
GAME DAY EXPERIENCE
“Hall of Fame Block Party” happens on the north side of Boone Pickens Stadium. This family fun area features: carnival-style concessions, inflatable games, face painting, live music, the Go-vision screen and “Made in Oklahoma” crafters.
GATES OPEN
Stadium gates will open 1½ hours prior to kickoff for students and the general public. Suite and club ticket holders may enter the stadium 2 hours prior to kickoff through designated gates.
LOST AND FOUND PROCEDURES
All items that have been turned over to stadium personnel, police, or safety will be taken to one of the Fan Assistant Booths which are located on the north and south side (plaza level) of the stadium.
OSU AUTHENTIC (OSU TEAM STORE)
Please consult the stadium diagrams for new west endzone locations of OSU Authentic.
STADIUM CONCOURSES
The new concourses (plaza and mezzanine levels) in the west endzone will allow fans to move from one side of the stadium to the other.
STADIUM GATE LOCATIONS
Due to the opening of the west end zone seating, some of the designated stadium gates have been moved to different locations. Please consult the stadium diagram for these stadium gate locations.
STADIUM SEATING SECTIONS
The stadium seating section will be changed from “letters” to “numbers”. The lower section will be the 100 level, the middle section will be the 200 level and the upper section will be the 300 level.
TOBACCO PRODUCTS
Effective July 1, 2008, Oklahoma State University is designated as a tobacco-free campus.
WILL CALL TICKETS
Individuals that are picking up actual game tickets in “Will Call” need to pick them up at the southwest ticket windows of Boone Pickens Stadium.
