Cowgirl Softball Releases Schedule

OSU opens the regular season in Tempe, Ariz., competing in the Kajikawa Classic, hosted by Arizona State, Feb. 6-8. The Cowgirls will play five games, including Pac-10 foe Stanford and Northwestern from the Big 10. Oklahoma State will travel to Houston, Texas, the following weekend (Feb. 13-15) to compete in the Crowne Plaza Classic, taking on North Carolina State, Houston, Texas State and Indiana.
The Cowgirls will travel to Orlando the weekend of Feb. 20-22 and play five games, including contests against Boston College and host-school Central Florida. Single-game trips to North Texas (Feb. 25) and Wichita State (March 4) will be sandwiched around a three-game series against New Mexico to open the home portion of the schedule, Feb. 27-March 1.
Oklahoma State hosts the Mizuno Classic March 6-8, including games against Cleveland State, Drake, Northern Colorado and Arkansas. The Cowgirls will also host Tulsa at home on March 11 before heading out to the west coast for five games as part of the San Diego Classic II, March 13-15.
A trip to Missouri State (March 17) and a visit from Northern Iowa (March 19) precede the opening of Big 12 Conference action as OSU hosts Kansas for a two-game set March 21-22. Other home league series include Missouri (April 10-11), Texas (April 25-26), the bedlam battle with Oklahoma (April 29) and Texas Tech (May 2-3) to conclude the regular season.
OSU will also host Wichita State and Missouri State on April 22-23 in home games.
The Cowgirls will travel to Nebraska (March 28-29), Baylor (April 4-5), Texas A&M (doubleheader on April 8), Oklahoma (April 15) and Iowa State (April 18-19) for Big 12 road series. The Big 12 Championship will be held May 8-10 in Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma State opens the fall scrimmage portion of its schedule next Tuesday, Sept. 30, as the Cowgirls host Oklahoma Christian in a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m.
