2008 Outdoors: Ran the 10000 meters in 32:29.65 at the Big 12 Championships to finish 14th ... Set a season-best in the 1500 meters when he clocked a 4:04.06 at the Arkansas Twilight meet ... Competed at the Stanford Invitational, running the 5000 meters in 14:47.23.
2008 Indoors: Competed in both the 3000 meters and the 5000 meters at the Big 12 Championships, placing 18th in the 3000 meters with a season-best time of 8:24.04 and finishing 12th in the 5000 meters with a 14:37.41 ... Clocked a 4:24.39 in the mile at the J.D. Martin Invitational.
2007 Cross Country: Did not compete.
High School: Attended Eden Prairie HS in Eden Prairie, Minn., where he was coached by Jeff Lindlief ... Three-time all-state honoree in track and field as well as a two-time all-conference selection and two-time Most Valuable Player ... Earned all-state recognition twice in cross country to go with two MVP honors and three all-conference accolades ... Also played for the Eagles' basketball team.
