This week's installment comes from Fernandez:
It's been an adventure this second week experiencing college life at Oklahoma State. It's been a lot of fun getting to know all the runners on the cross country team. We have great chemistry but it can get pretty competitive in some workouts. I can't wait till my first race and knowing we are contenders this year makes the journey more exciting. This week for us the workouts got faster and everyone looked great. For me being the newcomer, I know I have to run to the best of my ability and stay healthy. Most importantly, I have to stay on top of my academic work. So the big picture every day is this: we finished third at the NCAA Championship last year, this year with almost everyone back plus a real good group of newcomers we are hoping to bring the NCAA championship to OSU.
