At LSU: Competed during the indoor and outdoor seasons at LSU, where he won the Southeastern Conference Commissioner's Trophy as the top scorer at the 2008 SEC Indoor Championships ... SEC indoor champion with a 3:59.85 in the mile ... In doing so, he became only the second Tiger ever to break the four-minute mark in the mile ... Also won an SEC title in the indoor 3,000 meters, clocking a 7:57.76 ... Won the mile at the Purple Tiger Classic with a 4:06.85 and at the Razorback Invitational with a 4:01.95 ... Set the LSU school record in the indoor 3,000 meters with a 7:55.49 at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational ...
