Cowboys Ready to Run at NCAA Regional

STILLWATER, Okla. Â– Four Members of the Oklahoma State men's track and field team are set to compete in the NCAA Midwest Regional at the University of Nebraska Friday and Saturday.

Senior Ryan Vail is the only Cowboy who has qualified for two events. Vail holds the third best time in the region in the 5,000-meter run and the 11th best time in the 1,500-meter run.

Joining Vail as 5,000-meter run qualifiers are juniors Daniel Watts and Matt Barnes-Smith, who hold the 12th and 28th best times in the region, respectively.

Senior Terry Josserand, the only Cowboy to compete in the 400-meter hurdles this season, enters the event with the 12th best time in the region.

If any Cowboys qualify at the regional, they will advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, which are scheduled for June 11-14 at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
