GET IN THE ZONE!
March 26, 2008 | General
Tickets can be purchased today for seats in the new West End Zone in Boone Pickens Stadium.
The Athletic Administration spent four plus months in a series of meetings to ensure our Fun Zone constituency was not lost as we complete the west end zone. Many factors were considered including gameday experience, affordability, amenities, access, line of sight, etc. New and renewed patrons in this area are welcome as a great view of Cowboy Football in a rowdy environment begins in 2008 Â tickets are being sold now for this opportunity.
A package of four Fun Zone tickets (located in the new west end zone) is priced at $980 or $35 per individual per game. On a comparative note, Iowa State charges $21 per individual per game  for this price, patrons sit in the grass (literally) with a limited view of the action.
Season tickets may be purchased online by going to www.okstate.com and clicking on tickets, then order season tickets online under Football. You can also call the ticket office toll free at 877 Â ALL 4 OSU and a ticket representative can take your order. Actual seat assignments will occur after May 1 and will be assigned by using POSSE Priority Points.
In Boone Pickens Stadium, most Fun Zone patrons will be near the OSU band with a great view of Bullet and the Spirit squad. New amenities (restrooms, concessions, plaza concourse, gates, etc.) are easy access to seats and are an impressive part of the $180M west end zone capital improvements. By 2009, all stadium Audio and Video elements will be completely renovated/vastly improved working with some of the best consultants and vendors nationally. The remodeled 60,000 seat horseshoe stadium will, as Coach Gundy stated, give “O-State football a home field advantage like we have never experienced before. The finished product could resemble Gallagher Iba Arena in terms of an intimidating environment for our opponents”.
We trust you will help drive new fans, alumni, parents and students to this affordably opportunity. Keep in mind, football season ticket purchases support all eighteen OSU varsity sports as each team aims to build on Oklahoma State's 48 national titles.
With a qualified football coaching staff, Top 26 recruiting class for three consecutive years and state-of-the-art facilities, the future is bright orange.
Go STATE!
