Cowgirls Lose Second Game to Missouri

Columbia, Mo. Â— Oklahoma State couldn't find a way to score on Saturday as they fell 3-0 to the Missouri Tigers in Columbia.

OSU (14-16, 0-2) kept the Tigers from scoring until the third inning when two scored on a single up the middle by Amanda Renth. Missouri (30-7, 2-0) scored again in the fourth with a sacrifice fly by Rhea Taylor scoring pinch runner Shana White from third.

Stacy Delaney (13-3) threw the complete game shutout for the Tigers giving up one hit and striking out eight.

Sophomore Anna Whiddon started for the Cowgirls and threw the whole game giving up five hits for three runs and struck out eight. She falls to 2-4.

The Cowgirls will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Oklahoma City to play an exhibition game with the USA National Team at 6:30 p.m.
