Cowgirls Lose Second Game to New Mexico

Oklahoma State (10-8) scored first in the top of the fourth when senior Kim Kaye hit her eighth home run of the season over the right field fence with Alysia Hamilton on base.
However the Lobos (8-5) responded in the bottom of that inning with three runs for the lead in the game and they never gave it back. The first two batters reached on walks and Analise Rubalcava got a single to load the bases. Ashley Allen singled up the middle to score two and then Rubalcava scored from third on a wild pitch.
Freshman Amanda Crabtree was the pitcher for the Cowgirls. She threw her sixth complete game giving up four hits for three runs. She struck out five and walked four and is now 5-5 on the season
Kelly Ninemire started for the Lobos and gave up three hits for two runs. She improves to 5-2.
The Cowgirls will play their third game against the Lobos on Sunday at 1:00 MT (2:00 CT.)
