In singles, Iryna Tkachenko lost a heartbreaker at No. 1, falling to Corovic in a tie break in the third set. OSU's Allen struggled at No. 2, falling to Courtney Zauft, 6-2, 6-2.
Cowgirls JoAnne Kariaitiana and Sasha Belova picked up solid wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively, but OSU's effort fell short as Maryna Tkachenko fell to Maggie Mello at No. 5, and a forfeit at No. 6 gave Texas the 5-2 win.
