Cowgirls Host Lady Raiders On Senior Day

Cowgirls and Lady Raiders
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (21-6 overall, 9-5 Big 12) will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Saturday when it hosts Texas Tech (16-12, 4-10) at 6 p.m. The No. 17/19 Cowgirls will be looking to get back on the winning track in their final home game of the season after falling to Texas A&M during the midweek, while Tech will be looking to even the season series after OSU snuck out of Lubbock with a two-point win on Feb. 14.

OSU will be in search of its 10th league win, which would match its previous best in Big 12 play set during the 1997-98 season. Saturday will be Senior Day for OSU as Maria Cordero and Danielle Green will be playing their final game inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The Lady Raiders come to town after closing out a three-game homestand that saw them post a 2-1 mark. Tech knocked off Kansas and Nebraska before falling to Oklahoma on Wednesday. The Lady Raiders are 3-7 this season away from home, including an 0-6 mark in Big 12 road games. Tech is among the better rebounding squads in the league, ranking third in defensive rebounding and fourth in offensive rebounding.
