Cowgirl Equestrian to Show at Georgia and Auburn

The Cowgirl Equestrian team (7-0) travel to the Southeastern Conference to take on Georgia (5-2) and Auburn (6-2) this weekend. Oklahoma State will show against the Bulldogs at 1 p.m. cst on Saturday in Athens, Ga. The Cowgirls show against the Tigers on Sunday at 1 p.m. cst in Auburn, Ala.
Two weekends ago the Cowgirls defeated Big 12 foe Kansas State by a margin of 17-5. Oklahoma State dominated both English and Western seat competitions.
Cowgirls will show twenty-four girls against Georgia on Saturday. For the hunt seat seniors Bailey Mahoney and Natalie Chappell, junior Misty Stustman, sophomores Ally Blais and Jaclyn Osterstock, and freshman Hannah Beresford will compete in equitation over fences. The last two fences MVP's have been won by Chappell and Mahoney.
In equitation on the flat the cowgirls will show seniors Bailey Mahoney and Michelle Woolschlager, juniors Sam Collingsworth and Charlotte Collingsworth, and sophomores Ally Blais and Jaclyn Osterstock. Sam Collingsworth won the MVP for this discipline against Kansas State two weekends ago.
For the western side of the competition senior Sam Davidson, junior Jordan Pickelman, sophomores Ashley Koch and Suzanne Randolph, and freshmen Courtney Whiteacre and Margaux Tucker will compete in the horsemanship discipline. Tucker captured the MVP in horsemanship two weekends ago against Kansas State.
The Cowgirls that will show in the reining category will be junior Jacque Roberts, sophomores Rachell Shobe, Molly Tipton, and Leah Kuehn, and freshmen Brianna Parnell and Courtney Whiteacre. Shobe and Kuehn are both still undefeated on the season.
On Sunday the Cowgirl lineup will mainly stay the same except for a few changes. In the Fences category freshman Alice White will replace Misty Stustan. For equitation on the flat junior Sarah Summers and freshman Erin Prutow will replace sophomores ally Blais and Jaclyn Osterstock. The western team has no additions.
