Three Softball Players Earn Academic Awards from 2007-08 Season

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association named three Oklahoma State softball players, Kim Kaye, Heather Kim and Amanda Crabtree, as scholar-athletes for the 2007-08 school year.
This is the second time Kaye has been named NFCA scholar-athlete and the first time for Crabtree and Kim. The criteria for the award is a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better for the fall 2007 semester and spring 2008 semester. Kaye, who was a senior last season, was also selected as first-team Academic All-Big 12.
These three awards brings the all-time Cowgirl softball NFCA scholar-athletes total to 34, which leads all other women's sports at OSU. It also brings the number of academic awards for softball for the 2007-08 year to seven.
