Cowboys Rout Sam Houston State, 39-3

STILLWATER, Okla. Â Oklahoma State racked up 584 yards of offense en route to a 39-3 win over Sam Houston State in front of 41,139 fans Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.
The Cowboys improved to 3-2 on the season as sophomore quarterback Zac Robinson completed 19-of-28 passes for a career-high 279 yards and two touchdowns. Dantrell Savage added 115 yards on 15 carries to fuel the Cowboys' victory.
OSU took a 7-0 lead on its first possession on a 29-yard scoring strike from Robinson to Adarius Bowman, and the Cowboys made it 14-3 on an 18-yard touchdown grab by Dantrell Savage.
The Cowboys took a 17-3 advantage into the halftime locker room after a Jason Ricks' field goal late in the second quarter.
OSU scored their final 22 points in the third quarter. Perrish Cox's 49-yard punt return for a touchdown pushed the Cowboys' lead to 25-3, and Julius Crosslin and Kendall Hunter added touchdown runs to provide the game's final margin.
Bowman finished with 141 yards and a score on eight receptions. The game marked the fourth 100-yard receiving effort of his career.
OSU returns to Big 12 Conference action Saturday at Texas A&M.
