Oklahoma State University Athletics

MOVING ON UP
September 29, 2007 | General
In an effort to ensure all OSU varsity sports are competitive, Oklahoma State Athletics recently launched the Leave a Legacy fundraising campaign targeting $115 million in endowed scholarships for our 400 student-athletes.
Since the campaign began, donors have committed nearly $15 million; OSU Athletics has significantly moved up to middle of the pack from a 12th place ranking (last place in the conference).
Due to the incredible support and generosity of the Cowboy faithful, many student-athletes will receive scholarships, travel, academic support, strength and conditioning, housing, food, etc. through philanthropic funding and associated investments.
Each year, the cost of scholarships total approximately $5 million  directly impacting our annual operating budget. Involved donors are helping the department guarantee scholarship funding for Oklahoma State student-athletes in perpetuity. In turn, the department is awarding priority points for both today's gift (cash, stock, etc.) and long-term planned gifts (estate gifts, life insurance policies, trusts, etc. ).
There is a special opportunity for a family to leave their legacy with Oklahoma State University and secure the future of our athletic programs.
To all involved fans, POSSE members, ticket holders, donors and Endowment Campaign contributors  thank you. There has never been a better time to be a Cowboy!
Go STATE!
