2006-07 (Junior Season)
was named the Big 12 Conferences co-Defensive Player of the Year along with Mario Chalmers of Kansas.
was one of 21 players named to the collegeinsider.com All-America Defensive team.
was regularly assigned to guard the opposing teams best offensive player, including All-Americans Kevin Durant of Texas, Texas A&M's Acie Law and Chris Lofton of Tennessee.
gave up just five points while defending Durant, who finished with 21, eight below his Big 12 average.
held Lofton to just 5-of-15 shooting from the floor (nearly 150 percentage points below his season average), including 3-of-8 from long range.
Law scored just 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting and had three turnovers in a quarterfinal game of the Big 12 Championship.
grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds on two occasions, both occuring in the Ford Center in Oklahoma City (vs. Pittsburgh on Dec. 21 and vs. Texas on March 10 in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championship).

scored a career-high 14 points against Mercer on Dec. 18.
grabbed a career-high seven rebounds against Jackson State on Nov. 20.
shot 65.1 percent from the floor for the season and 75.7 percent from the charity stripe.
after missing the Tech game, averaged 24.4 minutes in the last five games.
2004-05 (Freshman season)
best overall performance came in the contest against Northwestern Oklahoma State, a game in which he scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor, including his only three-point field goal of the season.
shot 63.6 percent from the floor, and averaged 1.2 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest.
recorded double-figure minutes against Northwestern State (12), Washington State (14), Northwestern Oklahoma (14) and at Texas (13).
2003-04 (Redshirt season)
redshirted his true freshman season at Oklahoma State.
High School
lettered four years for Coach Kelly San Jose at Millikan High School in Long Beach, Calif.
considered one of the top prospects at forward on the west coast, and was a consensus top-100 player nationally.
was named to the 2003 Best in West second team, a squad which includes high school seniors from several states from New Mexico to Alaska.
averaged 25 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks and four assists per game his senior season, earning him All-CIF honors.
averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three blocks per game his junior year, helping advance the Rams to the CIF Southern Section Division I-AA semifinals.
was recruited by a host of schools, including USC, Oregon, UCLA, Washington, Marquette, Cincinnati, Long Beach State, Wake Forest and Boston College.

Personal
Born June 17, 1985, in Bellflower, Calif., Marcus is the son of Lawrence and Yolanda Dove. He has a sister, Brittney. Marcus enjoys eating, watching television and hanging out with friends in his spare time. He is majoring in sports management at Oklahoma State.
