Cowgirl Golf Slips Into 10th Place At NCAA Preview

Oklahoma State's women's golf team carded a 301 total on Tuesday to dip into a tie for 10th place after two rounds at the Margaret Branch NCAA Preview being held at the UNM Championship Course.
After beginning the day in sixth place, the Cowgirls' 9-over score moved them to 13-over and into a tie with Auburn at 597. Duke maintained its four-shot lead after posting a 286 team score to drop to 11-under 573 through 36 holes.
OSU junior Pernilla Lindberg remained in the top 10 after posting a 1-over 74 to finish in a three-way tie for seventh place. The Bollnäs, Sweden native opened with a 68 on Monday and stands at 4-under 142. Lindberg will begin her final round five shots behind tournament leader Dewi Claire Schreefel of Southern California.
Senior Tammy Clelland followed up her first-round 76 with a 74 to move into a tie for 39th place at 150, while sophomore Sarah Bradley rose one spot into a tie for 69th place at 156 after carding a 77 on Tuesday.
A pair of Cowgirls are among the group tied for 76th place at 157 asjuniors Amanda Johnson and Karin Kinnerud posted scores of 76 and 84, respectively.
OSU will begin its final round tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. (MST) and will be paired with Wake Forest and Auburn.
